Tishomingo State Park

From Chester Frost we headed South to Tishomingo State Park in Mississippi. Up to this point of our travels the weather was too cold to confidently “de-winterize”. But temperatures in Tishomingo were sufficiently moderate that we could take advantage of our full hook site there—water, electric, and sewer. Compared to what we had been through previously it seemed like a visit to a five star hotel.

The park itself was nice enough and as with many parks that time of year, nearly empty. There were more park “hosts” than actual campers. No problem for us privacy loving country folks.

Not another camper in site.
